work and civic involvement.

Mr. Reyes, managing partner in the law firm Heygood, Orr, Reyes, Pearson &
Bartolomei, will receive the council's prestigious DiversityFIRSTT award on August
18 at the organization's 2008 Best Practices and DiversityFIRST Awards Luncheon.

Established in 2004, the DiversityFIRST award recognizes individuals, businesses and
community groups for promoting diversity, inclusion, cultural understanding and
civil and human rights.

"This award is very close to my heart and is a tremendous honor," Mr. Reyes says.
"The Texas Diversity Council does important work promoting diversity issues. It's
humbling and a great privilege to be singled out for this award."

Mr. Reyes and the attorneys at Heygood, Orr, Reyes, Pearson & Bartolomei are
